  I had stayed at the Inn many times over the past 2 1/2 decades, and this was my first visit in 7 years. The renovations are lovely, the staff is professional and helpful, and the food is superior - Room design/layout. Super clean all over. Friendly staff

  Even though the hotel was under renovation, the renovation process did not disturb us. The staff were helpful and courteous. There is the indoor pool, a full service bar and restaurant on premises, and in the back was a picnic area where we enjoyed drinking our coffee watching the deer early in the morning.   We were looking for a quiet getaway for the long July 4 weekend, and that's exactly what we got. We stayed in the lodge itself (there are also cottages with more amenities, which cost more), and had a clean, comfortable room. There was a hiking trail onsite that we enjoyed, and big pool that seemed empty most of the time. When the owner found out that I have cancer and my husband has a back injury, he offered to upgrade us to a cottage so that we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. He also had a breakfast tray brought up to my husband. The room was very comfortable, and the lodge and its grounds are beautiful. We hope to go back during the summer so we can use the pool.

  Actually, there was nothing I didn't like. The room was clean and fit the bill. I was in Gettysburg for a funeral at Saint Francis Xavier Church and the move in and out was quick and easy.
