  I stayed for one night. Vehicular access to the hotel was very easy and close to main city expressways. The parking lot was ordinary but access-controllable.   We loved the comfort of the king size bed. Having a kitchen gave us the opportunity to cook in or bring back leftovers to reheat in the oven or microwave.   We were looking for a quiet getaway for the long July 4 weekend, and that's exactly what we got. We stayed in the lodge itself (there are also cottages with more amenities, which cost more), and had a clean, comfortable room. There was a hiking trail onsite that we enjoyed, and big pool that seemed empty most of the time. When the owner found out that I have cancer and my husband has a back injury, he offered to upgrade us to a cottage so that we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. He also had a breakfast tray brought up to my husband. The room was very comfortable, and the lodge and its grounds are beautiful. We hope to go back during the summer so we can use the pool.

  The hotel is beautiful, the lobby dome used to be a bank in 1900. Breakfast staff was excellent! We got a good rate with breakfast included with booking. Great location. - downtown location is great. Close to shopping, theaters, historical district and transportation. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful.

Motel was easy to find and on a direct route to the center of town. Several restaurants were nearby as was Walmart and a shopping center. Being the off-season, the price was quite reasonable.
