  First, the value. It was nicer than most upscale hotels we've stayed at, and at half the price. All amenities were for comfort and our stay was great!   We enjoyed the outside bbq grilles nearly every night. Found a great fresh fish market in Hanalei, called Hanalei Dolphin, behind the restaurant there.   I loved this place! I am used to air conditioning so I had to adapt to no air. Island breezes helped at night. Great location for activities shopping and food. - The view of the ocean from our window @ Shearwater was fabulous. The rooms were large and comfortable and it easily accomidated our family of 6.

  Our hotel room is excellent with great views. Also the lobby isbeautiful and huge with lots of couches and we like the rumours club,being close to the huge mall. Also I love the patio and the little shopsinside the hotel. It was perfect. - The location was Awesome and the hotel was really nice.

  The cleanliness of our room and efficiency of the maid services were excellent. Comfort and size of room was excellent however the sofa bed was slightly unstable. Plenty of extra sheets, lightweight blankets and mattress were available. Maids would not only vacuum every second day, they also washed and dried all towels for us. A half block away is the running path along the canal which was excellent. The building is very secure and you have free parking which is key in Waikiki as this can be very expensive. There are plenty of markets and coffee shops around and the beach is 3 blocks away. If you don't rent a car the buses all stop just around the corner and you can
