  The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

We'd overlooked this establishment initially because of the parking and motel look but it is gated and well kept.   We stayed for an event, hotel was full and with all the activity the staff at this hotel was excellent and very accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to be near the superdome - we enjoyed the location and the staff of the Dury plus the complementary breckfast, popcorn and soda and dinner. very nice!

  I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Everyone maintained a smile and obviously was doing their job the best they could and kept high customer satisfaction in a confusing situation. Th - Staff was excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location in a quieter section of the French Quarter (but still close to all the action). The room and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable and looked recently renovated. We were very pleased with our whole experience.
