The quirkiness and style which offered more than a bed and breakfast experience. The furnishings and design of the room(s) were excellent and the owners were charming and friendly. Loved it!.
we were updated to a more luxurious room just because it was available and at no extra charge , major result . breakfast was excellent ... we will come again *****.

Size of room was good i both rooms they were in an annexe building.

shower screen leaked and left a puddle on the floor a bath mat was provided and soaked it up , hey its not my floor so no problem .
Some minor finishes to the decor could have been better (eg hole in the ceiling).
Rooms were tired and in need of updating.
Cobwebs may have added to charm at halloween but not for christmas.
Hot water would have enhanced the roll top bath experience rather than a quick dip.
Access was poor on fast road. I was told by owner if i wasnt satisfyed I could find somewhere else. Sette was dirty just as you walked in. This worried me as to state of bed. Shower room nicely fitted except loo flushed broken and crack on sink. roll top bath rocked and shower sprayed anywhere. No extractor fan and single skimmed exterior walls. Mould on skirting in corners. Looks good but ill conceived. A long way from bedroom.
