  I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. The day before I was leaving, a staff member came to my door, to remind me that it was time for me to go if I was to catch the plane back to the mainland.   I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote - Maggie was a tremendous help to us in lining up alternate transportation when our tour company cancelled our tour.
