  This is a great place to stay. Good location just outside Stornoway. We stayed in the cottage behind the guest house and it was immaculate with great facilities. Donald is a very welcoming and excellent host. Thanks. - The owner was a great man.   Excellent house with all amenities including bikes for all. Geroge the propriotor made us all very welcome . Excellent stay would highly recommend this location for a grp particularly a family - Super to have the whole house to yourself with every facility. Really was home from home.

  We arrived a few hours early, as our room was not ready we decided to head to the bar, there was a roaring fire and we were greeted by the lovely barman, we ordered drinks and had a spot of lunch, which was a simple sandwich, just what we wanted! The room was warm and cosy, beautifully decorated and a fabulous view from the window, - My husband and I traveled here with our 3 month old son and had a wonderful stay. The island is so beautiful and we very much enjoyed being in a remote part of it. We were in the main building on the second floor, so we had a lovely view of the lakes and wifi reach our room (even though I know they like you to become "unplugged" for a bit). The fireplace in the sitting room was so nice. We sat by it for several hours one evening as our son laid on a blanket next to it...he had never seen a fire

  I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views.   We reserved two rooms at the guest house, which is conveniently located near the ferry port at Stornoway. The rooms were large and spacious and well equipped.   I liked the very friendly staff, nothing seem to bother them. Tommy the manager is a credit to all managers.
