  I liked that it was pet friendly as we had a dog with us. The rooms were large, clean and modern and we had no problems with noise from the service station close by as I thought we might. - the fact that the cleaning staff handed in a gold ring we thought was lost and the staff called me on my mobile to let me know. Great service!

  We were upgraded to a luxury suite because our original room smelt dampdue to a large wet patch on the floor....this was dealt with politelyand efficiently and seemed unknown to the reception staff but thecleaning staff must have been aware.   It's an unusual little hotel in some ways, but my room in the new part was very clean and entirely met my needs. The lady proprietress was welcoming and very interesting to talk to, having run the hotel for many years and recently increased the number of rooms.   This has new management and they are doing a good job, the facility is not the best but certainly not the worst. There is a lot of refurbishment to be done in all areas but it is clean, quiet and fantastic value for money. The breakfast was better than a four star hotel I stayed in and the staff were both pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this as a stopover before flying. £40 for a night was excellent - Everything was catered for and the staff / owners were extremeley nice and hospitable. There was a wedding night occuring during our arrival, but all was good and al was peacful at a time that didn't affect our stay. we would stay again if we were in the area. Not the best for the price we paid, but certainly good value.

  We have just come back from a one night stay at the Premier Inn NEC and I could not fault the hotel in any way. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, every one of them. The bar/restaurant area was great and the staff efficient and friendly. Note: It is a little far to walk to the NEC but there are plenty of taxi's and the parking at the NEC, although £8 is very well organised. - The pleasant atmosphere and the very obliging, helpful and welcomingstaff on entering the hotel. Although we didn't have the time to haveour evening meal there (due to our late arrival, caused by delayedtrains etc), we made sure we had the full buffet breakfast , which Imust say was absolutely fabulous!! A quiet drink in the Hotel bar, afterthe show rounded our evening off perfectly
