  It's an unusual little hotel in some ways, but my room in the new part was very clean and entirely met my needs. The lady proprietress was welcoming and very interesting to talk to, having run the hotel for many years and recently increased the number of rooms.   From the minute we arrived until the morning we left for our train, the Emsley was one of the true highlights of our uk visit. Ray, Melanie and Hayley make you feel like family. We stayed in the Warwick Room which has 2 single beds & 1 double bed. We originally booked for two but had extra party with us on arrival.. However there was no extra charge for the extra person and this included an extra breakfast at no extra charge. We also arrived a couple of hours early but this was no problem & we were welcomed in plus given a pot of tea and biscuits. Very good location as it is very close to the Stratf
