  Everything. The room was lovely, well appointed and cared for, the breakfasts were delicious! I had just found out that my painful 'sprain' was a broken leg(!) and they could not have been more kind and helpful - Nice welcome. Breakfast ordering service which ensured we were not kept waiting.   A very good clean hotel and especially value for money. The owner was extremely helpful and the location in summer would be outstanding although busy as there is a caravan park next door. On saying that the hotel is brilliant. My wife is vegetarian and the chef couldn't do enough to offer a range of 'home cooked' vegetarian meals. We could not wait until 9am for breakfast so were offered food to have in the room for breakfast - cereal and fresh fruit and a flask of milk. When going to Blackpool a stay in this guest house is a must cannot praise Ricky & Kath enough and of course the old coac - Rick and Kath are delightful hosts. We arrived after a nightmare journey - Rick was on the doorstep to welcome us, carried our bags from the car, recommended a fabulous local Indian restaurant and ordered the taxi to take us there! Unbelievably peaceful weekend break, especially given that we were but a few minutes' walk from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Lovely, clean room and superb breakfasts.
