  Excellent hotel in a lovely setting with good access to the Forest of Bowland. Modern, clean rooms and a great restaurant. This should be at least a 4*. Will definitely be staying again (soon!) - Excellent value for money. Good facilities.

  We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one.   This was a very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Alan could not do enough for us and we will be returning next year. I have been visiting Blackpool for about 10 years and this is the first hotel where I would say I would return. - The friendliness of alan (owner).   The owners of the hotel were both really friendly and they would do anything that they could to help you. We have - After reading the reviews I was slightly worried about the hotel but on arrival the staff were brilliant, check in was quick and smooth, they'd gone the extra length to make sure they have parking for all guests. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had an amazing weekend and the service was second to none! I'd highly recommend the hotel!! Amazing value for money!

  We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible from the tram and close to shops and other amenities.
