  We especially liked being greeted by the concierge. Booking in and out was quick and easy. Room was spacious and clean with plenty tea and coffee in the room. All things considered a very nice hotel and I will definitely stay again when I am in this area on business. - For our needs the quiet, rural location was lovely. Nice to stay in an independently run hotel instead of the usual formulaic chain of hotels. The views across the fairway was beautiful. The use of the swimming pool etc was an added bonus which we took advantage of. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfasts were fine again with excellent service. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to re-book at the Shaw Hill Hotel.

  I really enjoyed the food at the hotel - Holland Hall is excellent in every respect. Can't praise highly enough-lovely hotel, location and staff - from the friendly manager,restaurant and bar staff, to the lovely gentleman stoking the fires.
