The young man on reception who managed to "guide us in" after we got lost was so lovely - friendly and able to have a laugh with us, just what we needed after going around the loop so many times, thank you! Alan on the night shift was fantastic fun and very accommodating to ensure his guests were well looked after. He was able to move rooms for me (see comment on what I didn't like) without question, nothing was too much trouble.

Very nice breakfast - lot of choice. Fab location. Substantial double glazing made room quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again. Facilities adequate and considering price paid, it was excellent value. Comfortable. Problem with some aspects of housekeeping in room on arrival was immediately rectified without question, and did not recur. Excellent location for our needs. Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was so clean. The bed was incredibly comfy and the picture on the wall above the bed was fun and quirky and made me giggle everytime I looked at it. The service on reception and the particularly lovely lady at breakfast were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Staff responded to our needs very quickly when we couldn't get the heating to stay on. The double glazing was amazing. No sound at all from the busy Blackpool front. all staff made me and my brother very welcome and assisted with all our needs. also the location of the hotel is in a brilliant place in central blackpool. we will be looking into booking again. 1) The view from our room! 2) Location, location, location 3) Breakfast - usually when an English hotel says continental they mean stale rolls - this was a decent spread. 4) Good value for money. The ibis styles was welcoming, friendly staff and really clean. We got the view we asked for which was amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable, best nights sleep I'd had in a long time. The staff on the checkin desk were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent. The rooms were a good size and checking in and out was very quick and simple.. I like the location, the room and the whole atmosphere of the hotel. The room was brilliant and very good value for money. I would definitely stay again, room 216 was brilliant. Location first class and the Staff excellent and beds very good as you get in all the Ibis chain across Europe its a very good standard for Blackpool I would stop again . Great location and great rate for overnight stay. If longer would need more storage space. Staff very friendly and room was quiet despite being at the centre of nightlife. Fantastic friendly staff, couldn't get a better location right next to the tower. Rooms were clean and a comfy bed. Bathroom was spotless. Excellent value for money. When we checked in reception advised us on parking. We found a local secure car park less than 5 minutes away and parked the car for the whole week for £16.00!. We had tickets for Strictly at the Tower Ballroom so the location was excellent. The hotel is a bit basic but clean and value for money. Having stayed in this hotle when it was a Travelodge, I was Very pleased with the clean decor, the comfortable bed and the cleanliness. the staff was great got too know them all by first names in the short time I was they,, I will be staying they again in the new year. real value for money - breakfast choice excellent (only continental but we were only paying 20/night each). Was situated close to the sea, shops and amusements, also transport just outside. Located right on the sea front and close too everything that we had to visit . With Ibis you allways receive a good standard of facilities and service. that it was in a good position in the town centre staff was helpful. Great value for money and fab location. My room was foisty (330) - the whole corridor (level 3) had a foul smell to it - Alan said he would report it. My brother is gluten free and it was a little disappointing to be told that as the breakfast was free (however it is not free, it is "included" within the room rate) there was nothing they could do to accommodate a gluten free breakfast. Luckily cornflakes were available... These are all minor points as we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast room a bit small and cramped - had to wait for a table - toaster machine slow and needed 2 goes to brown properly. No parking so had to pay a lot in nearby expensive car park. Continental breakfast plentiful, but little variety of fruit available and although staff explained that this was not the norm, there was no more choice the following morning. Would have liked a cooked breakfast option and would have been willing to pay more for this. n/a. Extractor fan in the bathroom is noisy and stays on all night - no switch to turn it off. Good thing we always take airplugs to hotels!. The fan in the bathroom, it was going constantly. If we forgot to close the door we'd have to get back out of bed. But this is just something minor. The air conditioning leaked constantly even after turning off and made the carpet very wet and started to smell of damp. This is my only complaint about the hotel. We informed a young boy member of staff who did inform ys the leak wouldd stop after 10minutes or so and to be fair he did offer to move us rooms but we had already unpacked and didn't want to cause any hassle for the two nights we were there. No Parking paid 13.00 pound a night round the corner but very safe as you expect. Bar was a bit souless but not a problem as surrounded by bars and clubs. Breakfast is continental only. The noise late on in the night was a bit of a nuisance but to be expected with that location. Nothing to complain about really. Thanks. I know the night I stayed was a sat and during the light switch on, but I did think the price a little high for just a bog standard double room. Key cards kept stopping working on the doors. Outside door was cleaned during day but an ashtray would benefit gets very messy with cigarette doubts . Nightclubs underneath bit noisy. Nothing. I didn't like the fact that there is no cigarette bin and the floor was a real mess. The other thing I really did not like was the hotel entrance door was not operated on a key card after a certain time. As females coming back to hotel early hours of the morning, I did not feel safe thinking that anyone could follow people into the entrance and straight into the lift. Very scary thought. Maybe this should be address as a risk. We asked to move room because the bathroom extractor fan was a little noisy, would be nice if fan was activated only with light switch. Should we visit Blackpool again we will be BOOKING AT YOUR HOTEL. Nothing. more of a brand than a hotel no personal touch run as a business rather than a hotel.but new this on booking so not really a bad thing. Stayed on a Friday so therefore was noise from nightclubs below. Didn't no this when booked, but noticed after booking there was a nightclub below. Our mistake. parking was a problem, local carkpark very expensive. nothing ,. Continental breakfast. Advise on how to claim the overnight car parking refund , which we did not get back . No car parking facilities, No luggage storage before check in time. There is a automatic door problem. It cannot properly work at night. Cannot think of anything. the hairdryer didn't work. Parking a slight issue. Air com a bit cold in the dining room. having a nightclub right underneath the hotel which meant I didn't get a lot of sleep and banging of doors. that there is no chest of drawers. Jeremy Kyle for breakfast viewing, only tolerated this once and asked for the tv to be turned over for the other mornings. Very odd. N/A. Not enough staff at breakfast time. Only one lady left to do everything at breakfast which meant things weren't restocked when they had ran out etc. Felt very sorry for this one lady but she was fantastic at her job and managed to keep smiling even though she was rushed off her feet. The breakfast. really needed a cooked brekkie rather than continental. and the cost was alot for that type of hotel .
