We had avery comfortable ensuite deluxe room on the second floor with a greatshower, nice linens, and beautiful views of the countryside and CamberCastle. Although we did not have dinner there, our breakfasts weredelicious. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again.

  Very welcoming and clean. Lovely building with decor to complement it. Owner was very nice and interested in what we had planned. If we needed a taxi he went out of his way to get us one.   We booked into Vernon House just about last minute and we were so happy with the place ! The room was very clean which makes all the difference, the bed was comfy and the linen was crisp and fresh,so important.   The room had character, a bit quirky but also neutral enough to appeal to most people. We weren't told that breakfast was included but we had cereal, milk and crockery so we could have some breakfast before we left the next day. The staff were lovely and we got given cerial and fruit in the morning. In the room was a tv with virgin media, so if you fancied a romantic night in you can watch a film ect. It is very close to the main nightlife in Brighton which means you don't have far to stumble.

  The Owners were lovely and made our stay very enjoyable. The room was amazing, everything was very clean. There was tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar, but i think the best things of all were the shower and four poster bed they were amazing.   Great for a group - Location. Value for money accommodating so many people. Great communications from managers/owners. I would 100% stay there again and recommend to friends - however I would take additional towels, washing up liquid, coffee, sugar etc. I'd also like to watch someone else falling through the bed slats!
