We wanted an inexpensive place to go for the bank holiday weekend, and couldn't have made a better find! Such a beautiful countryside location, with lots of long walks easily available for a perfect relaxing weekend. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, full of recommendations and very friendly. The location is remote, so there's not a lot going on, but it is easily accessible by bus (make sure you bring cash, there's no ATM nearby!) and surrounded by lovely fields. Definitely

We stayed at Willow Tree for our mini honeymoon, it was perfect. Liz and Adrian made us feel very welcome and put a bottle of bubbly in our room. Our room 'Playden' was beautifully decorated, comfy bed and very clean. Willow Tree has a beautiful garden which you are free to use, and Barney the dog is a lovely! Excellent location to the town and the breakfasts are AMAZING!

The staff was really friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my request. The hotel has a beautiful decor, our room had an amazing view, and was very specious. We only stayed for one night, but would've loved to have stayed longer it was so enjoyable! We stayed in the Rosemary & Thyme room which is beautifully furnished with a great deal of thought to attention to detail. Even down to a small floor tray for your shoes! The bathroom is lovely too, with the best shower ever!! Breakfast, very tastey, would defiantly recommend the kippers, very tastey! We were made to feel very welcome, and would recommend to anyone visiting Hastings!
