I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but we had no problems at all. Before going i requested a newly refurbished room and it turned out to be a spacious twin, that was clean, comfortable and quiet. I do agree that the rooms are a little warm and the windows don't really open, but other than that we had a comfortable stay. clean. It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from
Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District.
I'd return to the Lake District just to stay at the Quaysiders Club. -
