This is an add-on to the Beachcliff Hotel and checkin was there. So there were no staff on duty. Entry was by code to the Guest Lodge. The staff did not mind that we used the sitting areas in the main hotel. Not sure if this is a good or bad point. Room was small but very clean. Weather was find so we did not send. next to very grand hotel (which we had a beautiful meal one evening) but the actual accommodation was at the back of the hotel. It was simple but clean and had everything we needed. Perfect for anybody on a tight budget.

Quiet + car parking space nearby (public, not belonging to the guest lodge) + located really near the seaside + well-furnished rooms. Clean and efficient, good value for money. No thrills but they would have been wasted as we only wanted a clean place to sleep. The location is certainly what I liked most. Excellent value for money. Easy access, easy parking. The staff of the reception is very nice and of big help. It was clean in the room. Good sized room, friendly staff, clean, very good value for money. the location near the town centre and good transport links. No frills good value accommodation just off the promenade. Situation is good, not very far from the center, good restaurants near and busstop to the Land`s End just across the street. Foodstore almost nextdoor. The location was just right for us. Great location. clean, good facilities, good location, friendly staff. Clean bathroom, nice upstairs lobby area. The reception is very nice, and welcome. Cleanliness could not be faulted. Not much just passable as a one night solo traveller. it was clean. Not a lot. The room was so basic that it was rather like a cell. Nevertheless the bed was comfortable and the room was cool on a hot day. Sometimes all that is important is a good nights sleep. A cheap hotel left enough money for a super meal. didn't have any complimentary biscuits in the room. lol. Nothing to not like. Doors were a little cranky, making them hard to open / lock + postal code provided on website does not correspond with that on Google Maps, which could result in guests getting lost finding their way there + (slightly more troublesome) check-in at next-door hotel. The nearly dead plant just inside the front door, poor first impression, but very good in every other aspect. The staff of room service in the morning was rude because they didn't knock at the door first before using the passcode they have to enter in our room！No wifi in the room. no comments. Down a side alley with no frontage and only small frosted window. The window was too small and too close to the roof, looking on a sort of bamboo wall, so no light could come in. Little issues such as the water not draining in the shower, no hot water at times of high usage and heating not working. Would have liked a little better front entrance to the building, also a little better quality furniture in the bedroom would not go amiss. It was not clear that breakfast was not included. The entrance to the guest lodge had a pungent damp issue, which turned your stomach. Down pipes outside window leaked and made excessive noise when raining. Some serious maintenance needed. Not easy to find the entrance. The noise in the corridor ie when people walk along it, its very noticeable. The tv It was rubbish, not easy to use and kept loosing the signal and sound. Only a few channels. Little window up high so no air and definitely no outlook - in summer must be very hot as no fan or air con as far as we could tell. This big 4-person apartment was located in the back yard of the main hotel building. Very little windows, very little daylight, no view whatsoever. fresh towels were not given when the maid came. There was not a bath mat and bath towels at the first night of the stay. But they provided them for the 2nd night. The psychopath in the room next door screaming and throwing things against our wall until 5am. A lack of reception or staff in the building made me uncomfortable to report him as I was genuinely scared for any repercussions as a result and daren't walk past the room to leave as he kept coming into the hall and shouting aswell. And as a pregnant woman it was a very stressfull experience. Guests should have the choice of turning the heating on! I was not able to turn radiator on in my room. Icame back from a day out, my clothes wet through and unable to get dry and warm. please give your guests the choice. Door lock front and room a pain No space. hard beds,. Everything. We've found from other hotels that cheap doesn't have to mean unclean, tiny and uncomfortable. No warm water. We stayed for 3 nights, room was only cleaned once! Smelly outside drain under window. No ventilation. No quick easy access to room and to enter building as you have to enter using codes. I had to ask for toilet paper the first day and I don't think our room was cleaned nor prepared for our arrival!. Run down poorly maintained accommodation. No hot water day or night.
