Loved everything about this beautiful hotel. The hosts were so warm and friendly (Nong & Eddie), and couldn't do enough for us. Nong even brought us some nice fresh croissants to our room when we arrived that evening! The room was beautiful - and so lovely and quiet. We both slept really well. The hotel is situated on a lovely quiet street, very close to the seafront of Penzance. 所有评语 » Estoril is a 10-room bed and breakfast in a lovely old house on a very charming street in central Penzance. Our room was basic but quite comfortable, just as advertised (we were on the third floor with partial sea views over the tops of the houses below us). The ample continental breakfast buffet was served in the beautiful dining room every morning from 7-10 and we were able to park for free in the owner's driveway. We loved everything about our stay - great room equipped with everything we needed (including a TV, wi-fi, a hair-dryer, toiletries), great location which made going into town/the bus and rail stations really easy and friendly, accommodating owners who made us feel very welcome and comfortable (beyond what they really needed to do). Highly recommended!. This was a good clean hotel with very friendly owners, the room was large with a good bathroom. It also had a four poster bed. The breakfast was continental type and excellent The location was good near the sea front and deal for the Scilly Isles ferry. The only fault there was no fridge to keep cold drinks. The Estoril is in an excellent position. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a varied selection of food available. You are able to leave your luggage which is useful if you are travelling from Penzance later in the day. This was my second stay and I would stay at the Estoril again. It's a comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. We were free to come and go as we pleased, able to use the dining room in the evening to read newspapers. We could use the free wifi. The breakfast was continental but had a fair choice of things. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The Booths, Eddie and Nong, are great proprietors. Between Eddie's restoration skills and Nong's decorating talents, they've turned the Victorian building into a lovely B&B. The breakfasts are delicious. The Wi-Fi service is excellent. The owners were extremely friendly and courteous. I was a single traveller on this trip but this B&B would have been perfect if my family had also been present. Great care, (without fussing), was taken- parking, bag carried. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Estoril. Clean and refreshing. Owners extremely helpful in responding to any questions asked. Would certainly recommend the hotel to all. Conveniently placed close to both beach and town. We were cycling from Lands End and really appreciated our bikes being stored. The hotel had been recently renovated and it was extremely clean .Owners were extremely friendly and helpful , the breakfast was good , and the location was good for the money . I'd say it was a bit over-priced at 85 pounds a night, but no more so than every other spot in Penzance in midsummer. Very glad we stayed there. There wasn't anything we weren't happy with. Nothing. The parking was on street and it was difficult to find a space. There was a car park a short walk away, but we prefer to have our car in sight, so didn't use it. We stayed on the 2nd floor, which was one flight of stairs too much for us. Next time, we will book a room on the first floor. There was nothing that I didn't like. A great B&B- I will go again. Wash sink in bedroom, not in bathroom. Breakfast is basic but nice. The only compliment we have is there wasn't a fridge in the room to keep water , beer and wine . Really really noticed it compared to hotels on Asia and Europe and Australia. The foggy weather! Not the hotel's fault!!!. Awkward with suitcases on the narrow staircases to our upper room. Difficulty in parking. Small bathroom. Room was a bit small, decoration and colours were somehow special - not our preferred style. Could be awkward for parking. Stairs very steep to top floor for elderly or infirm. Nothing. Nothing particular. Very steep stairs up to the top floor so be prepared if you have heavy cases! Limited parking. Nothing. For us the double room was a little on the small side, being international traveler's we had a lot of luggage with us. Rooms were a bit cramped. No complaints. Nothing. seagulls at 4.00am!. Staircase too steep. Nothing. The temperature in the room was set too low, and impossible to set it ourselves. The steep narrow stairs to my room.
