Nothing snooty or subservient or obsequious either.
Breakfast was fantastic. Smooth, easy process for us.
The complimentary champagne on our first night was unexpected and greatly appreciated.
We were on our honeymoon and "splashing out" as a one off but the one off will be our first choice anytime we are in London.

The detail to service in this hotel is superb. We went to celebrate my mothers birthday and they were exceptional to her. She received an upgrade to a suite and a birthday cake from the staff. Staff at door take bags up to room, even your shopping bags! A full explanation of room given to you on arrival and believe me you need it as it is so high tech. The young well trained staff are excellent. The Hotel entrance is amazing, very polite doormen opening doors into the fabulous foyer, probably one of the best entrances in London. The place was very busy with a young clientele. Our room 210 was a good size but did not feel it was the 28mts as was advertised. A large TV with over 100 channels. Good bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Good selection of drinks and a whole drawer of nibbles. Highly recommended.
