  The front desk managed to get us rooms when we checked in at 10am after arriving straight from the airport. Another plus point was the close proximity to both Bank and Monument tube stations as well as Liverpool Street Station. There's a nearby Sainsbury and Tesco Metro stores for added convenience. The Superior rooms are superior in size andcomfort. In-room coffee/tea is wonderful-free coffee in lobby evenbetter. Decent, but not great, location for tourists - terrific forbusiness people - easy walk from Monument and Bank metro stops.

  The staff (2 different employees) went out of their way to support us on independant matters. It was very well appreciated ! We had a 2 bedrooms apartment (including 2 bathrooms) which was perfect in every way - the kitchen was brand new and provided with everything we could hope for on a weekend stay. We were there in the middle of the longest heat wave in current history, unfortunately, this hotel, like most places in London do not have air conditioning.   My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.
