  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   We had a fantastic stay at ‘The Rookery’, I cannot fault the hotel orstaff in any way. Previous comments mention the noise from a localnightclub, we had no problems with this at all and our room was locatedat the front which is where if you were going to have problems youwould.   We went to London for a weekend, as me and my girlfriend love the city. We especially liked the location - few minutes walk from Farringdon tube/rail station. So we had no problems getting around the city. We booked a studio. It was good overall, however showing signs of wear and tear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. - Exceptional quality, Comfortable and Clean. Close to tube 2-3 minutes.
