  It was literally a minute's walk from Kensington Olympia and the Kensington Olympia station, which was ideal for us. The hotel was very clean, and nicely decorated. There is no luxury, but you get value for your money. Staying there with childre the age 9 and 12 worked just fine, but we were a lot out of the house. Finding a place to eat nearby is no problem, and if you are not willing to walk the 15 minutes to Shepards Bush metro station, you can take the bus.
