The hotel was in an excellent location, close to shopping area, surrounded by different places to eat, quite close to the castle and old town. I stayed for one night at the Edinburgh Townhouse, and the single room with ensuite was very comfortable. The Townhouse is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh, Waverley Rail Station, and situated on castle Street, just off Princes Street. I enjoyed a tasty, continental Breakfast in the morning.

We arrived with our son who is wheelchair bound , and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She even sent his breakfast up to him on a tray!!! FANTASTIC....The building couldnt have been more central!! All in all, a fantastic budget place to stay in Edinburgh. The owner should be very proud , they do a fantastic job, we loved our stay here.

Morag (the owner) was VERY nice and courteous. She greeted us warmly and seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing each day and how we were enjoying Scotland. Also, her breakfast was great and always waiting. Meats, cheeses, huge croissants, choice of cereals and juices.

Nice room, very comfortable single bed (maybe a bit small, my mum fell when she was rolling over) and very quiet.
Good breakfast with self serving coffe/tea, juice, cereal and yogurt. I had scrable eggs on toast, but you can get a full Scottish breakfast.
Staff very friendly. I'd like to stay longer to interact with them.
