The owners are totally committed to providing a quality experience to their guests. It seems a range of languages are spoken and there were many Continental European guests though all are welcome. The location is excellent with very regular buses taking you to the city centre and sights. The great Scottish breakfast with a wide choice sets you up for the day!. Nice room, very comfortable single bed (maybe a bit small, my mum fell when she was rolling over) and very quiet. Good breakfast with self serving coffe/tea, juice, cereal and yogurt. I had scrable eggs on toast, but you can get a full Scottish breakfast. Staff very friendly. I'd like to stay longer to interact with them. Definitely I'll came again.
所有评语 » had a lovely stay here before beginning setting up our new lives in edinburgh. The staff were really friendly and helpful to all our questions and made scrummy breakfasts every morning. Location is easy bus or walking to central and plenty of food options in the area. The staff were very friendly, the beds were super comfy, the room was clean and the breakfast was bang on. Big thumbs up from both of us, we would highly recommend staying here. Everything was fine and comfy excellent value. Good breaky and well positioned to access the bus to travel in and through the city. I really liked how close it was to usher hall as I was going there for a gig. The guest house was great and so was the staff. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with flat screen tv and nice shower. Good breakfast with a choice of food. Everything about this place is ok for a big + staff and decor of the rooms and the food!. Edingbrough is a nice place plenty to do nice sites very frientoodly people. Very nice staff and family room was good. Gave us room with an en-suite. Close to amenities Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Clean comfortable bright single room; very friendly staff. Music in the breakfast room(sry, that was the only thing I could think of). I cannot think of any problem that I or any other guest had. I am a very experienced traveller and would say that this guest house is excellent value and I intend to stay here again,. The shower had mould on the plate and a big black hole on the ceiling (from an halogen?), but clean. The internet was on and off for the first few days but you get that sometimes.. was fixed by the end of our stay. The shower needed the grout and nooks and crannies cleaning regularly. Nothing. Wi Fi doesn't reach the top floor. Too much rosd works. Shower door was hard to close and it got the carpet wet. The UHT milk in the room was lumpy! That's all. The shared bathroom was a bit tired and water drainage poor. everything was fine. Single rooms not en-suite Distance from City Centre. Room was a little small and right next to main road. That being said the bed was very comfortable. The shower could do with a good clean....bleach maybe!!! Car space available down the street. Not as secure ( for a hire car) but no problems. Room too small Room very dated Rubbish piled up outside of guest house. Parking facility basic and away from guest house (difficult to find without help of guest house staff). I hate their shower - hot & cold, hot & cold. And bed was also terrible. Nothing. Nothing. The location is not very easy to find. The cleaning was not satisfactory. Dirty and smelly carpets. The shower had remains of soap from previous guests. Off site parking was some one else's house frontage well away from the b&b itself. Very steep steps and 2ft 6 beds. I thought these had had their day but obviously not. A very high step into the bathroom was awkward and could be dangerous. Looks more like a hostel than like a b&b. The price is extraordniary high which I only recognised when I booked an other apartment more central, bigger and cleaner. beds very uncomfortable , bathroom access poor. Needs modernising. -first I received a key for a room already occupied -They gave me the wrong room ( booked twinbedroom but got a doublebedroom (small))!! -"scottish" breakfast without baked beans and mushrooms ?? - the room was in a bad condition , you could even get your finger cut by the sink.
