  The position of the hotel on The Strand was brilliant for sight-seeing. Even though our room was at the front the shutter system meant we had virtually no noise or light at night, so we had a good nights sleep.   I love the size of the rooms and each time we have been the rooms have been spotlessly clean. The staff are all great - very helpful and polite - especially the lady who checked us in!!   We were "Upgraded" to another Grange Hotel on the opposite side of the road. BUCKINGHAM HOTEL. This was even better than the Lancaster. The `Ratings` shown above are in fact for this Hotel.   The room and bathroom were clean. We add wireless for free though it could be slow. The included breakfast was filling and good.
