This was the one of the best beds we slept in while on our trip around England. Vince is a great host with good recommendations on what to do and how to get there. Shirley is an awesome cook and these were the best breakfasts we had in England. The location is very good - a 15 minute walk from the town so that we could enjoy wine with dinner and not worry about driving and there are lots of good restaurants in Bowness-on-Windemere - just ask Vince!

  The suite was everything the photos and description promised it to be. The location is incredible with all of Bowness shops, pubs and fantastic restaurants at your doorstep. Also the pier to where the boat trips to the other parts of Lake Windermere was only a few minutes walk away, this meant that a car was not required for our stay at all.
