  I stayed in a family room with my father and sister ready for an early morning event the next day. We had to check out at 5am but the night porter was helpful and we were able to pay the night before. Right on the a1 so easy to find but still got nice views of fields from the room. - Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, good food in the restaurant and at breakfast. Reception staff super helpful especially when my husband brought the wrong suit to our sons wedding! Reception staff let us keep our room while husband drove to the Metro Centre to purchase the same suit he had left at home then change into it before leaving for the wedding venue.

  Although situated in a small town, the Old Vicarage was a great base to explore the surrounding countryside. The house was very old and the decor has been kept to portray its era. This did not detract from its ambience or the breakfast. With mutliple choice of delicious dishes, you are sure to be well set up for the day. This B&B is gem and we were sorry ti be staying only one night as it was so relaxing there. fabulous touches as well, such as the conplementry sherry, mead or damson wine! Breakfast was amazing and all sourced from the local area, we loved sitting at the breakfast table with the other couple that were staying as it made for a real social pleasant start to our day!
