Staff were all lovely, very friendly, accommodating and professional. They go the extra mile. All of them including the cleaners and maintenance staff. The location is great, near the seaside, train station and Ayr town centre. The food was fantastic. Service was great. And I'd reconsider the name Bar & Grill cos that makes it sound like a sports bar selling bar food or burgers and steaks... 所有评语 » The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for our two year-old daughter. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day...we'd seen a few comments about the rooms being too warm, but there was a huge electric fan in ours, though we didn't actually need it (Scotland in August, after all). Breakfast was delicious. The hotel was ideally placed for taking short walks to either the town centre or the sea-front. Also, just a two minute walk from Ayr train station. If we go. Staff were fantastic, friendly, welcoming and efficient. Large, airy, nicely decorated rooms with some nice individual touches. Great bathroom with automatic sensors for the lights - no searching for the light switch in the dark. Fantastic restaurant with great food and great waiting staff. Nice little bar open late into the night (and early morning!). Car parking made life easy. Good location, handy for beach front and town. Really good breakfast choices and nice atmosphere. Wo. Location was great, right next to train station, if you prefer to leave the car. Room very clean, Breakfast was fab, very enjoyable. Was only there for one night, so didn't get the chance to sample the restaurant or bar, but room where breakfast was served was very modern and nicely decorated. Next time we will book dinner bed & breakfast. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, we had a king room at the front. The room was a bit hot, but the hotel had provided a fan which solved the problem for us. Really can not think of anything. Was a lovely getaway. Didn't like the sea front in Ayr but the shops and riverside made up for it. The stairs to the room were a bit of a mission with heavy suitcases. Could not receive wifi connection in room. Someone filled the bottle bin at 5 55 am Sunday morning and party noise Friday till 1am ish(probably mentioned this because we were not invited(joke) no great annoyance. The room was a bit too warm despite a fan being provided. There was a function on and the guets brought their buffet food and sat at the stools in the bar to eat it. This made it quite difficult to get to the bar and generally wasn't very nice. The function made very noisy in the bedrooms above. nothing. nothing. Nothing. All good. Small bed on the first night. There was nothing I didn't, like. Not enough ventilation. Bedrooms were overly hot due to being located over the kitchen area. Far too warm for comfort. Fans provided but not able to offer enough fresh air. Shower did not work correctly and could not get hot water from the shower. absolutely nothing to complain about !!!. No dislikes. Wish our room had a bath as well as a shower. Room was nice and clean but wallpaper coming off in couple of places. Poor wi-fi reception in room 4. On our last night there was a function in the room underneath us so was a bit noisy-however it finished at 11.30 so wasn't too bad. Room was unpleasantly smelly as it was above the Kitchens but they did discount it for us. there was nothing to dislike everything was perfect. No negative comments. I cannot fault this hotel. suppose to have a king bed,dissapointed in two singles put together,breakfast menu not up to scratch,no yoghurts or croissants as stated and selection of cereals were disappointing. Leaving. nothing. Problems with cold water plumbing in room number 8. no faults. Bed & bedding could be more comfortable. Room was very hot but fan helped.
