Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. Had plenty of pillows and you didn't have to ask for extras. Motel style a little different to what we are used to but at least it was quiet (no corridor doors slamming in the night).

This might sound like a strange praise, but this hotel had one of the best showers I've ever experienced. This is not something you usually think of when signing up, but I was surprised how proper water pressure, temperature and general pleasantness can make or break a stay. We'll meet again, Ibis Coventry shower, of that I'm sure.

I found all that I required and more.I was particularly impressed that as I had need of an accessible bath or shower [my hip replacement was troubling me and I had booked a disabled room]I was phoned prior to my visit by a member of staff to assure me and to prepare them for the possibility of my requiring help should I need to leave my room in a hurry.I thought this a deed of ' going the second mile' and it reflected the spirit of the care we all received from the staff.
