  Having travelled all around Thailand for the last 15 years I had noticed the Ayara on the hill but only in passing during stays at other resorts. The resort manages to provide the excellent Thai service to a very high standard, without being to formal. We misplaced a wallet containing over £1500 in various currencies and my driving licence. Hotel & spa is proper 5 star, staff are very freindly and helpful. Rooms are great wih fantastic views. Breakfast included up to 10:15 and was really good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the beach strip, and the hotel came with free membership access to the 2 best beach clubs on the beach strip (catch beach club and bimi beach club).   No doubt this hotel knows how to please their customers. Firstly, the location is really great. Just across to Karon beach... Staff are so kind! They help us anytime we need.   What a beautiful resort! The pool is great, book a pool access room and you will be able to jump in the pool from your room. Gorgeous grounds and lovely pool, the tide was out at the beach so would have been a far walk to get to the water.   We loved the swimming pools and pool bar. Also there is a lot of palms and other greenery around and it is very tropical looking. Also we had a great welcome and our room was decorated with rose pedals. The resort is very clean. Breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food. The breakfast was so fresh and variety was great. Ate at the restaurant several times and the meals were great. Each afternoon you got a plate of fresh fruit delivered. No complaints at all about this resort and highly recommend.
