They made sure we had a quiet room towards the back (furthest from Sathorn Road, and not on the side facing the Australian Embassy, where the traffic noise seems to come in more). The room was clean and comfortable, with shower, jug, fridge, etc. in working order. The management responded well when I checked into my room and I noted that there was a smell coming from the refurbishment of their furniture.   I was there for surgery so I was in the hotel most of the time. The DVD free rental was perfect for me. The service staff from front counter to the housekeeping was really friendly compare to the Heritage which i stayed a few days before i changed hotel. And it is very well kept and clean. When there are many guest, you have to be prepared to wait a bit for more breakfast to be served. Taste is ok - We had a trip which required us to come back to Bangkok a few times. Because the other hotel we booked was full for our second time in Bangkok we booked this hotel instead. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We received a free upgrade to a bigger room (which is always good naturally :) ) in the wing adjacent to the building where the reception is.
