  Last year we stayed in the Aetas Residence next to the hotel. Which is a serviced appartment and we liked the location and the service. This year i decided to stay at the hotel instead.   My first impression of the hotel when I get off a taxi was that it is much more than just a three stars hotel. The deposit required was THB1500 but a EUR50 was alright by them - many others left a USD100 bill, which was promptly returned within 15 minutes after they verified the room ( mainly because of the minibar, towels and other items that might be accidentally mistaken by guests as "souvenirs" ).
