The continuous river noise, complained about by some other reviewers, was definitely noticeable in my room, but to me it was "white noise" very similar to an air conditioner, and I didn't mind it.   Beautiful location overlooking the lake and mountains , my room had a nice balcony . service was friendly and the restaurant served a great dinner . Unfortunately the hotel was not at all full so this led to a lack of atmosphere in the restaurant etc . Nevertheless it comes highly recommended .
