  Hotel with lots of character. Super clean rooms, spotless in fact! Large spacious rooms with sitting area, small bathroom but ok for our needs. Fab view of the fairytale castle. Liked the free bottled water and chocolates. Super yummy breakfast in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again!   Very nice hotel, and a nice room. The food is delicious with local products, the staff very very nice and friendly. We had a beautiful room with a very nice view on the lake. Parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is newly refreshed, very nicely done.   Everything was great. The staff was very helpful with our doubts. The breakfast was amazing, fresh croissants and full of great food. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view. - A genuine attempt to provide a different kind of place to stay complete with very friendly staff

The continuous river noise, complained about by some other reviewers, was definitely noticeable in my room, but to me it was "white noise" very similar to an air conditioner, and I didn't mind it.   Beautiful location overlooking the lake and mountains , my room had a nice balcony . service was friendly and the restaurant served a great dinner . Unfortunately the hotel was not at all full so this led to a lack of atmosphere in the restaurant etc . Nevertheless it comes highly recommended . Easy to find, right next to a bus stop, although you do have to walk up a steep hill and stairs to reach it.
