  This hotel is great value for money. I stayed here for two nights sharing a room with two female friends and our room was lovely. The service from the staff was always excellent, everyone very friendly and happy to help. The outdoor pool is really nice, a great way to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Location is good too.   We had a wonderful experience at Amya Hills, Kandy. It was our 20th anniversary in Nov 2013. To our pleasant surprise, they decorated the bed with flowers with Happy Anniversary written on bed.   The location is incredible, Just ten minutes to walk from the town centre, the place gives you the feeling of being deep in the jungle.   We really enjoyed our short stay in the hotel. They were very facilitating and hospitable towards us and assisted us in all ways possible. The staff were the selling point for us.   We spent two nights at the hotel. The staff were helpful and the service was very good. Basic but clean rooms. The wi-fi was working well in the room. The food is also quite good.   This was a great 'experience' hotel - we stayed because of the heritage associated with it. An old colonial hotel which is a little crumbly around the edges but not too much and has lots of period features like an old fashioned cage lift etc. Nice garden area, and bar and a veyr swanky reception area with wifi.
