  We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The hotel i - We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !

  The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull, especially Candy. The location is amazing. We booked a room with sea view which is definitely worth the money. Lovely breakfast buffee and even in the evening they prepared whatever we fancied. The location was excellent IF you have a car, as it is a little bit out of main part of town. We had a car and loved how quiet it was.   By far, the staff was much nicer and available than others I've encountered in other hotels (even in 4* plus). The 5-minute walk and the free bikes for guests were perfect!

  Nice location overlooking river. Good BP garage next door with bar/cafe. Hotel staff very accommodating, (althought the restaurant was closed - Sunday) they made us a lovely dinner. Breakfast was included. Son of owner gave us directions to start our Camino walk, great help!
