  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!   Very nice new hotel. The room is simple room but very clean and with a nice view on the seaside. Well located not too far from the centre of O Grove. - The staff was really kind and helpful.

  Excellent I feel is a very rate for this hotel. However I would certainly rate it higher than average. A rate of 4.5 I feel would be a more accurate rate. I enjoyed my stay at your hotel.   We stayed as a family of 4 at the Montes Pension Boutique as a city break to Santiago in July. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the cathedral and main square.   We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The hotel i - We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !
