  We had a wonderful stay at the Cien Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Barcelona. The location was great... Just two blocks away from the boutiques and nightlife of Passeig de Gracia - wow! From the Airbus stop in Plaza Catalunya we had to walk only 5-7 min. Very convenient indeed.   Great location, 3 blocks from Passieg de Gracia train station, 5 blocks from Las Ramblas. Very convenient for a flyin holiday. No need to rent a car. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Their English was much better than my Spanish! Rooms were clean, comfortable and quaint.   We booked the hotel just for 1 day but eventually decided to extend our stay at Barcelona. The staff was very friendly and approachable. Staff is very helpful in guiding your way through the city and introducing you to all the activities. Plus they speak very good English. Definately my preference for my further visits to Barcelona. - Location is great! Not exactly a sea view but no problem. Very close to the beach and a few minutes to the metro station.The manager and his assistant were very helpful and friendly. The room for 6 is as advertised, small but comfortable enough. Adequate kitchen equipment. A quiet street, though other people staying there can get loud. Would recommend.

  About 10mins walk from the Catalunya Plaza, near to the airport bus statation. This hostel is in a residential building without any big sight on outside the building, so you may easily miss it. Luggage can be kept in the hostel after check-out at EUR2/day adds the convinience to us. PS:We arrived the hostel even - The Hostel is really great. It's located in the city centre close to Placa Catalunya. The nearest metro station is only 50 metres away! Stuff was very friendly always willing to help. There was no problem with printing some tickets or with leaving our bags for 8 hours after the check out as we had late evening flight. Overall i would highly recommened this place especially that room with private patio.
