  The owners/operators were very welcoming, had great knowledge of the area and just a general "friendly vibe". I was fortunate enough to be there on a very warm, late Autumn day and bared witness to the wonderful Alpine views and surrounding pacific ocean. They came to the gate to meet us and gave us all the info about their property that we needed. It was well positioned for views over the ocean and (if it had not been foggy)we would have seen the "First Light". The sky at night was amazing and we were very pleased to hear the residents chose not to have street lights as that would pollute the skyviews at night.

  Absolutely loved the service. Our hostess Raewyn greeted us in the most friendly way, and called us by name whenever we saw her. The hotel had a playground with a trampoline and swing set. Cottages are very quiet, absolutely clean; ours looked brand new and was very spacious. Owner is a very kind person and has been very helpful at any time. Kitchenette is very well equipped and if you want to relax there's a huge stack of DVDs at the reception to choose from. We had a wonderful stay and we can recommend for sure this place. Quality/price ratio is very good.

  The caring attention of the owners, the very comfortable bed and bath, both appeared very new. They are constantly working on improving your experience. It began my 3&1/2 week vacation in NZ on a high. Thank you again, - This is a new venture for Kylie and Luke, and is still being developed.when we stayed they had one large bedroom ensuite finished. We had a guest lounge with the tea, coffee facilities and continental breakfast . The free wifi was constant and no problems. Kylie and Luke were friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area,the B and B is in a good position for the facilities at kaikoura, and the White Morph served a wonderful meal. Good luck with their venture, they are so enthusiastic.

  We only had the opportunity to stay one night. Had we known what a lovely place it was, with such a fabulous location/views we would have altered our holiday to stay a little longer.
