  Merida was our first destination, and this was our first trip to the peninsula. We were not prepared for how run-down and chaotic the city would be. Driving a rental car around, trying to find our hotel and then the parking lot was very confusing and a little bit scary at first. Then we entered the courtyard for the hotel, and found a peaceful ... 别人怎么说 » oasis inside. The hotel is very open and light, and our room looked right out onto the pool through one-way glass. The Dolores Alba is charming and - Near the historic center where you can enjoy a touch of history (able to walk there, but just one block too far to really be in the vivid part). Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok but quite simple, nothing special. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Parking lot is definitely a bonus (free and totally private and thus very safe to leave your car).
