Merida was our first destination, and this was our first trip to the peninsula. We were not prepared for how run-down and chaotic the city would be. Near the historic center where you can enjoy a touch of history (able to walk there, but just one block too far to really be in the vivid part).
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok but quite simple, nothing special. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Parking lot is definitely a bonus (free and totally private and thus very safe to leave your car).
