The staff was great! The room was big and luxe with a view on Paseo de Montejo. We got a welcome drink at the bar and where close to a nice italian restaurant.

The owner Yan is from Holland. He has a perfect sense of Hospitality. Everything is arranged in a perfect way. Besides nice hotel service he also provided lots of advice and suggestion about the trip around Merida area. He mention that if he is not very busy he could also drive the guest for a day trip near by of course with very reasonable charge. This is a fabulous hotel and I highly recommend staying here to experience the sheer luxury that this hotel offers its guests. Don,t be put off by the appearance of the facade or the general appearance of the area.Open the doors from the street and you will be amazed by the inferior. Near the historic center where you can enjoy a touch of history (able to walk there, but just one block too far to really be in the vivid part).
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok but quite simple, nothing special. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Parking lot is definitely a bonus (free and totally private and thus very safe to leave your car).
