  It was excellent stay! Very clean, neat hotel. Room has fan on the ceiling and effective quiet air con. All rooms are with sea view, so at night only fan was enough because of sea breeze.   This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. Visited the Hard Rock Caf - The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying. The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it. We booked a King's Double room and was pleasantly surprised when HRH upgraded us to a suite which is

  We came early and the front desk staff allowed us to check-in 2hrs before the normal time as soon as the room was vacant. It's really great since we are very tired from our long bus travel.
