The room had a decent amount of floor space in the living space; much more than other hotel rooms of similar size. Don't be fooled by the Higashi Shinjuku subway station next door as its great for a few lines (and when you have your bags) but this hotel is only a 10 min walk from the main Shinjuku area so there is no need to mess around changing trains from Higashi. The rooms are very clean, the bed is comfortable and big enough for 1 person (140 cm). Tip: If you are a non-smoker reservate a deluxe non-smoking room. It is however a unique experienc - Hotel is a quiet and peaceful haven in a busy, interesting area, just minutes away from many things to see and excellent traditional shopping. I have stayed in their tatami rooms before and this time stayed in a single (western style) room which was spacious for a single. Good to have free wifi, unlike many hotels. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is quite simple - b - The room and bathroom was a reasonable size compared with other Tokyo hotels where there is pretty much just enough room for a bed. We thought the breakfast was quite good. Start your day with a healthy salad, boiled eggs, toast and a main dish that changed daily. Staff were super friendly. They greet you every single time you walk into the hotel. We made good use of the washing machine, dryer and microwave inside the room.
