  It is hard to know where to begin describing what a wonderful time we had staying at the Osiris Hotel when we visited Cairo. It might be best to start with the staff. They were always genuinely cheerful and helpful. When we planned our trip, we purposely picked small family run hotels for our stay. We are a family of four (two girls ages 11 and 15) and we sh - The Osiris Hotel is in a perfect location close to central Cairo but off the beaten path enough to be quiet. The view of the city from the balcony is great. The staff is excellent; the whole place exceptionally clean; and the decor is wonderful. I am a female solo traveler and felt very comfortable here.

The staff was absolutely fantastic, friendly, efficient, genuinely helpful. The breakfast was not of my liking, as it was too greasy, with cold fries/chips, but a typical Egypian meal- not necessarily bad. But what this hotel extra special is the view.   The staff were very friendly and I even had dinner with them. I liked the free wifi access. The place is in the mist of a lot of great shopping and you have a lot of restaurants, banks etc. The stores do not close until midnight. I did not mind hearing people outside. - Location is great, wifi in the room and modest breakfast.

  The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The owner also went out of his way to help us adjust our reservation and make the most of our time in beautiful Cairo. In terms of location, Zamalek, is the best place to stay for a traveler in Egypt, because it's close to great restaurants and sites. I would definitely stay here again.
