I got a room with 2 beds w - As a backpacker, staying at the pvi was a luxury, but all things considered, this hotel was very inexpensive for the regular traveler, and to be honest, they could charge a lot more and get away with it. The staff was absolutely fantastic, friendly, efficient, genuinely helpful. The breakfast was not of my liking, as it was too greasy, with cold fries/chips, but a typical Egypian meal- not necessarily bad. But what this hotel extra special is the view. My tour guide was Mina and my driver was Ahmad. Mina is very knowledgable and Ahmad was a SUPERB driver!!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND. Mahmoud (gold room/floor concierge) helped booked the tour and he too made my stay GREAT! I will recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. When I return to Cairo I will definitely be staying here!
