  loved our spacious room with bath. Loved the included breakfast, loved the helpful staff. The person who checked me in changed our room from a 3rd floor to a 2nd floor without me even asking. As I am 66, that was a big help.   Great place to be while in Montreal. One of the best locations: very close to the Metro (2 stations to the old city...), to the Spectacles Quarter, to St. Denis and the restaurants. The room is very nice, with all the amenities needed and very clean..Parking is right across the street ($12 for 24 hours). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Short walk from the club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions, including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc, but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house. Its the diversity of life that makes life and adventure.

  The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming with all guests. The hotel was clean and rooms were tidy. The hotel is on a side street so there wasn't as much noise at night compared to a main road which was nice.   I loved the view of the St Joseph Oratory from my balcony -- the Oratory is a few minutes' walk away: beautiful place to visit! This hotel is close to the Metro (Côte-des-Neiges station), and a brilliant Vietnamese restaurant (Pho Lien).   I travelled solo this time but was there in october with my boyfriend and we love Le Germain. .... LeGermainn was the first hotel I ever stayed at in Montreal (back in 2003) and I've not sta - The bed was incredibly comfortable. I opted for a bathtub and it was also comfortable with endless amounts of hot water. The toiletries are very good quality and replenished daily. I was there five nights and it was quiet every night. The coffee machine in the lobby is very good quality and I loved the hot chocolate. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly.

  We stayed as 4 adults in a 2 bedroom "apartment" and found it very enjoyable. Everything was provided, right down to detergent for the dishwasher.
