We love the unique & peaceful setting with the gardens & parklike grounds surrounding the hotel. We watched a group of deer feed on the grass outside the window of the cafe as we ate dinner. The food in the cafe was delicious & reasonable & the service impeccable. The complimentary breakfast focussed on nutrition with ample choices for everyone's taste. It is a short walk to the University Hospital where we had an appointment & we didn't have to drive through the city to g.

We are building a new home & replacing a few things and that was the most comfortable Bed that I have slept in. Please reply to me - you have our email address. Thanks for a great stay. Loved the deer and the other wildlife as well. Windemere is so peaceful. You awake to birds singing, trees rustling in the breeze and a view that is unlike any other hotel in London. No traffic sounds just nature. Awesome for being in the city. Absolutely love it. Can't wait to come and try the spa out. Staff was amazing. Stayed for eight days when my husband was admitted to Hospital. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Daily breakfast buffet was very good which was included. Even a free washer and dryer for use. Very convenient to London University Hospital. In a beautiful quiet part of London. We left a T-shirt in the room by mistake. It has a design of a skep ( beehive) and some bees printed on. If you found it and still have it, please keep it for us. I would be back on in London on the 9th of August and would like to pick it up. Very convenient location not only for UWO but for shopping and services. Friendly staff, suites are spacious and comfortable and the area surrounding the Windermere is integrated well with the surrounding green space -- saw 18 deer!!!. The location is excellent; you are minutes from the university and North London, yet the place has a country feel. The breakfast room was spacious and well set up, and the food was very good. It is also a fine location for running. Loved the deer and the location makes you feel like you are in the muskokas but still in London. Fantastic! Great ambience. Very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Outstanding customer service, beautiful grounds, clean rooms with very comfy beds. Had dinner at the hotel cafe - absolutely amazing food and great value for money. In addition to the very good general conditions afforded by the hotel, I found the Cafe had excellent service and very respectable food at modest rates. Beautiful setting on the edge of Western's campus. Great restaurant and very helpful staff. Luxurious and very comfortable rooms. The hotel had a wonderful healthy start buffet breakfast that was included in the price of the room. because of the hospital nearby...... excellent communificaions...... would recommend...... my husband was having heart surgery and this lovely hotel was only a 10 minute walk away. Visited Western University. Site was close and service excellent. Great value. The start of some nature trails. Breakfast was great, nice option to upgrade. Windermere Cafe was true gourmet food. The place was quiet and secluded. The place was wonderful and the food and breakfast were delicious. Room size was great. Quiet environment. Breakfast was awesome... We stayed in a King Suite...it was spacious, clean and quiet. good location, and convenient. comfortable bed and furniture. Friendly atmosphere, people, comfortable surroundings. Excellent Check-in. Our only negative comment would be that the lighting in the room was inadequate. Every thing was g-r-e-a-T. WELL, we did not like all the SNOW but you had no control over that. The only negative is that at times you hear the people on the floor above walking around in their room. There are no dislikes just observations; the rooms are a bit dated and the Windermere Cafe had amazing friendly staff but the food is only average. I believe however this was the last day of the World Figure Skating Championships and I am sure there was a lot of fatigue with staff. A minor complaint - the lower level room we were in was a bit dim. It could do with more powerful lamps. We were on the first floor and around 0530 am the guests above us started pacing the floor in what sounded like steel toed boots. Probably a random incident but will definitely request a second or third floor room next time. The rooms were a bit older. nothing..... everything was very nice. Lighting in rooms was not very good,very dull. Facilities in terms of washrooms, lobby leave a little to be desired (outside the room). breakfast was included but was not available until 8:00 am which was too late for most people; therefore feel lost out on this amenity and cost. Wireless connection in the room was intermittent. No complaints about anything. i may like room service for some meals because of my condition. Squeaky bathroom door. The rooms are a little outdated. fitted sheet and mattress cover had worn out elastic and came off the bed every night of our stay!!!!!!. Needs to be updated. distance from parking lot to hotel.
