  The place definitely has history. We even looked it up and have a look for yourselves: http://www.newarkhistory.com/mlkblvd.html It looks a little bit run down, but we didn't experience any of the terrible things people mention in their reviews. The room was clean and spacious. There was even bottled water in the fridge and candies. No tea and - Hotel is much better than we expected owing to unfavourable reviews we read. Staff, cleanliness, comfort are very good.   For the money we paid it was really good. New york hotels are expensive! For this price u cant expect that much. It was just a simple room with a bed, a sink and a tv but thats all you need for a couple of days. We stayed there for just one night. The staff was friendly so all in all it was a nice stay there. Alsothe hotel is in the middle of chin... vad folk säger » atown and just a few streets away from Little Italy and the Subway! Though the bathroom could have been more cleaner but hey its a shared bathroom so - Great location in the middle of bustling Chinatown, with 3 subway stations within a 5 minute walk, and considerably cheaper than most Manhattan hotels. After all, in 'the City that Never Sleeps' you don't want to spend too much time in your hotel room!

  Bra läge och trevlig och hjäpsam personal med tanke på priset. - Bra läge, lätt att ta sig överallt (till fots, med Subway) på Manhattan och till t.ex. Brooklyn. Många i personalen var verkligt trevliga och tillmötesgående. Hotellet kändes tryggt.
