The hotel is in the perfect location if you want peace and quiet but also to be within easy walking distance of the hustle and bustle. The room was very clean, had everything we needed for comfort. The lovely welcome and really super accommodation. Loved the owners and would have liked to stay longer. Easy to get to all places we wanted to visit and also had parking on the side of the property. Wonderful breakfasts. Enjoyed the TV and had our own key to come and go as we liked. -

Brendan Chase is conveniently placed and just a half-hour walk to Lake Windermere. David, the owner who greeted us, was extremely helpful when we first arrived drawing a map for us and pointing out places of local interest and some picturesque walks we might have missed otherwise. The WC and showers are not en-suite, because this is an older build

After reading some earlier reviews I approached My stay at Brendan
Chase with an open mind . Al I can say is that perhaps many of the more
negative comments have come from people with a cultural difference .I
found David very knowledgeable as to what to do in the area and the
entire set up was excellent . a wealth of different places to
eat/drink just outside the front door along with the quaint village
